As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for Enumerate’s Financial Services clients. This is a hands-on role that requires experience working in the HOA/COA industry. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail,, a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Perform bank reconciliations for associations involving multiple bank accounts * Prepare and issue financial statements for associations ensuring accuracy and timely completion of task * Prepare necessary supporting schedules including accrued expense and prepaid expense * Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials * Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month financials being issued * Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents * Maintain accounting controls through careful attention to policies and procedures * Research and respond to inquiries related to financials statements prepared * Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information * Direct participate internal and external audits to ensure compliance * Support month-end and year-end close process Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in accounting/appropriate field of study or comparable work experience * 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant * Property management accounting experience is a bonus! * Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process * Experience with accounting software * Speed and accuracy are essential for this role which requires multiple financials prepared and issued daily The pay range is inclusive of base salary plus any applicable bonuses or commissions.
