The engagement includes intensive prelaunch testing, launch testing on September 30, and potential ongoing weekly runs, with an expected 2–10 hours per test run. Prior QA experience is beneficial but not required, as preparatory training is available. This is a flexible, remote freelance engagement paid hourly. ## Role DNA A quick view of the complexity, pace, ownership and collaboration implied by the job description. ### Job Complexity 2/5EasyHard ### Pace & Pressure 3/5RelaxedFast-paced ### Autonomy Level 4/5GuidedFull ownership ### Communication Load 3/5IndependentCollaborative AI insightThe tasks are structured functional tests with provided instructions and training, making the technical barrier relatively accessible. I would describe the expected and actual results, attach a screenshot or video where possible, and note reproducibility and severity. What would you check when executing functional tests for streaming-app navigation? I would verify that menus load correctly, remote-control focus moves predictably, selection actions open the intended screens, back navigation behaves consistently, and text or labels display correctly in German. How do you ensure you follow a test case accurately? I read the full objective and prerequisites before starting, execute each step in order, record the outcome immediately, and avoid assuming expected behavior. If instructions are unclear, I document the uncertainty and request clarification rather than guessing. What would you do if you find an issue but cannot reproduce it? I would retry the flow under the same conditions, capture relevant device and app details, and test reasonable variations such as restarting the app or repeating the action. If it remains non-reproducible, I would submit it clearly labeled as intermittent with all observed evidence. How do you manage flexible freelance testing work with time-sensitive launch activities? I review schedules and requirements as soon as they are assigned, reserve time for priority runs, and communicate early if availability changes. I focus on completing assigned cases and submitting well-documented results within the requested testing window. Opportunity details ## About this role. Hi there!
