A technical blocker usually requires an engineering decision, architecture change, environment access, or specialized expertise to resolve. A process blocker is more often caused by unclear ownership, missing requirements, delayed approvals, competing priorities, or ineffective workflow; I address each through the appropriate technical or governance path. How would you support SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance in a software delivery environment? I would partner with security, engineering, and compliance stakeholders to map delivery practices to required controls, document repeatable procedures, and ensure evidence is retained consistently. This can include access-review tracking, change-management records, approval workflows, incident follow-ups, and periodic checks that teams are following the documented process.
