I would review it routinely with Sales and RevOps to ensure assumptions reflect current field realities rather than static planning targets. How have you used AI to improve a finance workflow? A strong approach is to start with a repeatable, high-friction workflow such as variance commentary, forecast-data validation, or management-report drafting. I would combine governed source data with structured prompts and review controls to accelerate analysis while maintaining finance ownership of conclusions. Success should be measured through reduced cycle time, improved data quality, and better decision-maker adoption rather than tool usage alone. How would you challenge an executive assumption that conflicts with account-level data? I would first validate the data and isolate the assumptions driving the difference, then present a concise fact-based view of the issue and its financial implications. I would frame the discussion around shared business outcomes, offer alternative scenarios, and explain the evidence behind each recommendation.
