I would include valid login, invalid credentials, empty fields, account lockout behavior, session handling, and error-message validation. What is the difference between functional testing and regression testing? Functional testing verifies that a feature meets its stated requirements. Regression testing verifies that new changes have not broken existing functionality that previously worked. How would you investigate a defect found during testing? I would reproduce the issue consistently, capture the environment, test data, steps, actual result, expected result, and supporting logs or screenshots. I would assess severity and impact, file a clear defect report, and work with developers to validate the eventual fix. How can Java be used in QA automation? Java can be used to write reusable automated test scripts and frameworks, for example with web, API, or mobile automation libraries. I would structure tests using clear page or service abstractions, assertions, test data management, and reporting to make the suite maintainable. Why is database knowledge useful for a QA automation engineer? Database knowledge helps validate that an application's user interface and APIs persist the correct data. With MySQL queries, I can prepare test data, verify records after transactions, investigate inconsistencies, and confirm data integrity across workflows. Opportunity details ## About this role.
