I would provide opportunities for them to lead discussions, followed by specific feedback and coaching. How do you approach a strategic analysis when the available data is incomplete or ambiguous? I would clarify the decision deadline and identify which uncertainties materially change the recommendation. I would combine the available quantitative evidence with qualitative context, state assumptions explicitly, and use sensitivity analysis or targeted data collection to reduce the highest-value uncertainty. The final recommendation would distinguish established facts from hypotheses and specify how we will validate the decision after implementation.
