Logs provide detailed event-level context that supports investigation, auditing, and troubleshooting, while metrics provide aggregated signals for tracking service health, trends, and alerting. Together they allow teams to detect issues quickly and then investigate root causes with the necessary detail. How do you maintain effective customer communication while working remotely across multiple time zones? I set clear agendas, document decisions and next steps, use asynchronous updates where possible, and confirm ownership after each interaction.
