Key risks include incomplete translation of requirements, inappropriate use outside the intended engagement context, weak review controls, stale content, and insufficient documentation of exceptions. I would mitigate these through role-based approvals, applicability logic, evidence requirements, release governance, and regular monitoring of user feedback and regulatory developments. How would you work effectively with engineers who do not have an audit background? I would explain audit concepts through clear objectives, examples, decision trees, and acceptance criteria rather than assuming prior domain knowledge. I would provide representative scenarios and edge cases, clarify what must be preserved for compliance, and maintain an iterative feedback loop to confirm that the implemented behavior matches the intended methodology. About the Role As an Audit Methodology Lead, you will play a key role in shaping Fieldguide’s methodology integrations. You will act as the bridge between our audit methodology partners and ensuring our agentic platform delivers accurate, contextual, and explainable methodology that auditors can trust and that meets the requirements of audit standards. You will focus on operationalizing methodology documentation and guidance from our partners within the platform. Your role will ensure the methodology and testing agents reflect professional standards, firm guidance, and industry nuances, while continuously learning and improving. You will work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to ensure our platform translates audit standards, methodology content and professional judgment into reliable AI-powered workflows. This requires a detailed oriented person, solid judgment, and the ability to navigate both standardized and non-standardized content (including professional standards).
