I build scripts with error handling, clear logging, idempotent behavior where possible, and documentation so they can be safely operated by the wider team. How would you troubleshoot an intermittent application connectivity issue in a distributed environment? I would define the affected clients and services, compare successful and failed paths, and inspect DNS, routing, firewall rules, load-balancer health, connection limits, and application logs. Packet captures and timestamp correlation can isolate where traffic fails, after which I would implement and validate the remediation while monitoring for recurrence. The ideal candidate is technically driven, detail-oriented, and capable of exercising independent judgment when diagnosing complex system issues and implementing scalable solutions. In this role, you will work across systems, applications, and networking layers to maintain secure, reliable environments, contribute to infrastructure upgrades, and support platform expansion. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and data center teams while applying advanced Linux administration expertise to solve non-routine technical challenges.
