I avoid unnecessary implementation detail, clearly state the recommendation and its trade-offs, and create space for stakeholders to ask questions before committing. As manager, you’ll lead one or more teams in core engineering, guiding the team as they transform a strong technical foundation into a resilient, user-focused product. Your role will be key in shaping the team’s roadmap, enhancing the developer experience, and driving faster, more reliable delivery across the company. ### What you’ll do * Manage a team of strong senior engineers * Own a transversal core engineering domain maintaining a high standard of operational excellence and driving tactical and strategic vision for this domain * Code and architecture reviews, and provide technical and design feedback to the team * Play an active role in our recruiting process, helping us grow our engineering team in any way you can * Provide regular job performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and provide career development support to your direct reports * Work with your Technical and Product counterparts to form a compelling vision and direction for the team that aligns with organizational and business goals * Select new and work with existing technology vendors when necessary.
