What is your process for maintaining quality while working quickly with product and engineering? I establish shared goals, reusable components, clear interaction specifications, and regular design-engineering reviews early in the process. I focus on the highest-risk assumptions first, use prototypes to align stakeholders, and remain involved through implementation to resolve edge cases without slowing delivery unnecessarily. How would you design an AI-powered feature responsibly for PadSplit users? I would start with a clearly bounded user problem and identify where AI can provide useful assistance rather than unnecessary automation. I would design for transparency, user control, understandable outputs, error handling, and feedback loops, then test the experience with representative users to ensure it is trustworthy and effective. Working on a growth-focused product team, you’ll tackle meaningful, complex problems for members and hosts, helping make it easier to find, access, and provide affordable housing. You’ll play a central role in designing intuitive, human, and scalable experiences that create measurable impact for our customers and business. The Person We Are Looking For: We’re looking for a senior-level designer who blends strong product intuition, systems thinking, deep empathy for users, and growth-minded experimentation. You thrive in complex problem spaces, move fluidly between big-picture strategy and pixel-level detail, and can clearly connect design decisions to customer needs and business outcomes.
