I would demonstrate relevant workflows, run a focused POC where appropriate, and provide evidence around recovery, manageability, security, and integration. My objective is to help the customer make a low-risk, informed decision rather than pressure them into a change. What infrastructure areas are most important when designing a data-protection solution? I assess the workload landscape, including virtual, physical, cloud, and application workloads; storage performance and retention requirements; network capacity; identity and access controls; recovery objectives; and monitoring. I also consider ransomware resilience, immutability, operational ownership, and how the solution fits existing processes. A sound design must support both reliable backup and proven recovery. How do you collaborate effectively with account executives and channel partners? I align early on account strategy, customer priorities, qualification criteria, and ownership of next actions. During the cycle, I provide technical guidance, lead discovery and demonstrations, and communicate risks or dependencies clearly.
