How would you apply AI agents to SRE work without compromising reliability or security? I would begin with bounded, auditable use cases such as incident summarization, runbook retrieval, alert enrichment, and pull-request generation. Agents should have least-privilege tool access, require human approval for production changes, preserve logs of inputs and actions, and be evaluated against security, accuracy, and operational-risk criteria before broader adoption. Reporting to the Senior SRE Manager, you will own the infrastructure that powers Ping’s authentication and authorization services across production EKS clusters globally. Working within a small, senior team of 3 engineers, you’ll have high ownership, short feedback loops, and direct impact on mission-critical identity infrastructure.
