How would you partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers during a strategic sales cycle? I would align early on account objectives, stakeholder map, sales stage, and the decision criteria. The Solutions Engineer would help validate the technical solution and data inputs, while I would build the business case and executive narrative; together, we would refine the value hypothesis throughout the cycle. What metrics would you use to quantify the value of an observability platform? Relevant metrics include incident volume, MTTR, availability, revenue or productivity impact of outages, engineer hours spent troubleshooting, telemetry infrastructure costs, deployment velocity, and tool-consolidation savings. The right measures would be selected based on the customer’s operating model and strategic priorities. Tell us about a time you had to gain alignment among stakeholders with different priorities. I would create a shared fact base by interviewing stakeholders, documenting areas of agreement and disagreement, and linking each priority to a common business outcome. I would then facilitate a focused review of assumptions and trade-offs, using transparent data to reach a decision and clearly assign next steps. Opportunity details ## About this role. As a member of the business value engineering team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the direction of this high-impact function.
