How would you make a message-driven workflow safe against duplicate delivery? I would assume at-least-once delivery and make consumers idempotent using a durable event or operation identifier. The consumer should atomically record processed state with the business update where possible, while retries, ordering requirements, and poison-message handling are explicitly designed and monitored. What engineering risks are especially important when integrating blockchain functionality into a wallet product? Key risks include key and signing security, chain reorganizations, nonce management, incorrect transaction-state assumptions, RPC-provider failures, smart-contract interactions, and asset accounting accuracy. I would isolate sensitive operations, validate all external inputs, use confirmation-aware state models, and build comprehensive monitoring and reconciliation processes.
