Oncology studies require close attention to eligibility criteria, safety reporting, endpoint assessments, complex treatment schedules, and frequent protocol updates. I manage these demands through detailed preparation, ongoing investigator communication, and early escalation of issues that may affect patient safety or data quality. How do you prioritize work when you are responsible for several sites and frequent travel? I use a risk-based plan that prioritizes patient safety, critical data, upcoming milestones, unresolved issues, and sites needing additional support. I maintain a clear monitoring schedule, communicate early about risks or delays, and reserve time after visits for timely reports and follow-up actions. Tell us about a time you resolved a conflict with a site or project stakeholder. I focus on understanding the other party's operational constraints while keeping the protocol and patient safety at the center of the discussion. By using objective evidence, proposing practical options, and documenting agreed actions, I can usually turn a disagreement into a collaborative solution. Opportunity details ## About this role. We are hiring a Clinical Research Associate II/ Senior Clinical Research Associate, this position will be fully home based working in the UK or Northern Ireland. How we will keep you busy and support your growth: You will monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites and ensure that clinical studies are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all applicable regulations and standards. You will coordinate all necessary activities required to set up and monitor a study (i.e., identify investigators; helping prepare regulatory submissions, conducting pre-study and initiation visits, etc.).
