I clarify the objective, deadlines, ownership, and decision criteria early, then communicate progress and risks in writing. Responsibilities * Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy. * Perform daily cash reconciliations and report on cash activity and other metrics to Accounting and Finance leaders. * Process accounts payable vendor invoices and appropriately code and enter them into the accounting system. * Manage new vendor onboarding and be the primary point of contact for our Company’s vendors. * Evaluate and identify ways to continuously improve the monthly accounting close process through various system and process enhancements. * Review monthly credit card statements and prepare associated journal entries. * Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with the business travel and expense policies. * Assist with the preparation of documentation and support for external financial statement audits and tax compliance. * Establish and drive business process and financial system improvements that will enable more efficient financial operations and collaboration within the Company. * Support and help maintain strong internal control policies and procedures. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with ad-hoc projects as required. * ### About You! 5+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting * Demonstrates strong initiative, sound judgment, and creativity * High-tech industry experience within SaaS * Knowledge and experience with NetSuite a plus * Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy * Able to thrive in an ambiguous environment Why work at Karbon? * Industry-leading benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and up to three eligible dependents.
