My aim is to ensure the organization presents a consistent, evidence-based response while maintaining a constructive regulatory relationship. How would you handle a business team that wants to close an action but has not provided sufficient evidence? I would explain the closure criteria and identify the specific evidence or testing gap in a constructive manner. If the team cannot demonstrate that the root cause has been addressed, I would not support closure and would agree a revised remediation plan with clear deliverables and dates. Where necessary, I would escalate the residual risk through the established governance process. Why is financial-crime expertise important for this audit management role? Financial-crime frameworks involve high regulatory expectations around governance, customer due diligence, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity controls. Subject-matter knowledge enables an audit manager to assess whether remediation is substantively effective, challenge weak control design, and communicate regulatory risk clearly to both compliance specialists and senior stakeholders. You will work closely with Compliance Leaders, Audit, Legal, Product, and Business Lines across ADGM and the Central Compliance teams to maintain a comprehensive, standardized audit and regulatory issue management framework, including engagements, metrics, plans, processes, and remediations. Responsibilities * Support the ADGM Compliance team on closure of regulatory exams and external audits using subject matter expertise in financial crime related frameworks and audit processes * Foster strong relationships with key Central Compliance functions to ensure effective engagement and delivery of items related to outsourced compliance activities * Follow a standardized exam and audit issue management framework, ensuring transparency on progress of issue/action remedial activity is provided to all stakeholders * Track resolution of regulatory exam and audits providing support where required to ensure the ADGM Binance entities are presented in a compliant manner * Perform closure validation on actions proposed as closed by the relevant teams to ensure closure satisfies the initial gap identified * Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
