I maintain a clear record of the documents reviewed, screening results, risk rationale, outstanding issues, stakeholder communications, approvals, and final decisions. I also check that evidence is current, internally consistent, properly stored, and linked to the relevant case-management workflow. Describe how you would handle a potentially adverse-media match involving a beneficial owner. I would first validate whether the match relates to the correct individual using reliable identifiers such as name, date of birth, nationality, and role in the company. If credible, I would assess the allegation's severity, recency, source reliability, and relevance to financial-crime risk, then document the analysis and escalate according to policy. How do you manage competing review deadlines while maintaining quality? I prioritize cases based on risk, regulatory deadlines, customer impact, and dependencies, while tracking work through the case-management system. I use structured checklists for consistency, communicate early about blockers, and escalate capacity or complex-risk issues rather than compromising the quality of the review.
