Frequent deployment is sustainable when teams have ownership of production health, strong observability, and a reliable rollback process. How do you approach a technology decision when the team has competing preferences? I align the discussion around product requirements, operational constraints, maintainability, and measurable decision criteria rather than personal preference. I seek input from affected engineers, document trade-offs, make a timely decision, and revisit it if production evidence shows the assumptions were wrong.
