I would explain the risk in practical terms, provide supporting evidence, and connect the proposed solution to customer, operational, and regulatory outcomes. I would involve partners early, invite challenge, and offer clear requirements with prioritised options rather than only identifying problems. Consistent follow-through and transparent decision records help build trust and alignment. What would you include in an escalation to senior leadership about an emerging financial-crime threat? I would summarise the threat, evidence, affected controls or customers, estimated impact, and confidence level. I would state the immediate mitigation already in place, key decisions required, and recommended short- and long-term actions with owners and timelines. We’re looking for a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our Actions Squad. You’ll be a subject matter expert across key financial crime controls, taking ownership of complex problems and helping us continuously improve how our controls operate across both Monzo Bank Limited (MBL) and Monzo Bank Europe (MBEU). This is a role with plenty of ownership and cross-functional exposure.
