The employer explicitly lists a pay rate of $100 USD and states that freelancers are paid by the hour. The one-time study is expected to take 1.5 hours, so the stated payment is a strong rate for a moderated fintech usability-testing engagement. Estimated market rates for comparable remote moderated usability sessions are approximately $40–$100 USD per hour; these are AI estimates rather than verified salary research. ## Core skills Skills and capabilities most closely associated with this opportunity. Have you used the Wise app before? No. I understand that prior Wise experience would make me ineligible for this particular study, so I would confirm that I have never used it. Are you able to join a 1:1 remote video session with your camera on and share your laptop or phone screen? Yes. I have a reliable internet connection, a suitable laptop or mobile device, and I am comfortable joining a scheduled video call with camera and screen sharing enabled. How would you provide useful usability feedback while completing a transfer task? I would think aloud as I work, explaining what I expect each screen or label to mean, what feels intuitive, where I hesitate, and any information that seems unclear or missing. I would distinguish between factual issues and my personal preferences. How would you handle sensitive information while participating in a payment-app study? I would follow the moderator’s instructions, avoid unnecessarily exposing personal details, and notify the researcher immediately if sensitive information appears on screen. I understand the session is recorded and that the research team will redact sensitive PII. Next step ## Apply now.
