In this role, you will support complex commercial transactions with a primary focus on Brazil and support for other LATAM countries, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships, while helping the company navigate diverse legal and regulatory frameworks in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. You will work closely with global colleagues to provide practical, business-oriented advice that enables growth while managing risk across multiple jurisdictions. ### Responsibilities * Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions in Brazil, with support for other LATAM countries, including enterprise customer contracts * Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that support high-growth go-to-market initiatives. * Monitor and interpret evolving country specific legal and regulatory developments, including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks, and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment. * Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect local requirements and industry best practices. * Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, tailoring advice to enable responsible growth and innovation. * Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function, fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture. ### Who you are * Curious about the future of AI and emerging technologies, have a strong sense of ownership with enthusiasm for applying your legal expertise to cutting-edge products. * Experienced in navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to manage ambiguity and make informed, timely decisions. * Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and global colleagues. * Proactive, business-minded, and committed to delivering practical solutions that support both compliance and commercial success. * Hunger to be exceptional at your job. ### What you bring * Law degree and qualification to practice law in Brazil. * Native-level Portuguese and fluent English; Spanish is strongly preferred. * 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (in-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred). * Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements. * Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property. * Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues. * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. * Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines ### Location This role is remote, so it can be executed from anywhere in Brazil.
