As an Account Executive, you will be the single contact point with a diverse client portfolio. You are empowered to use your creativity to build, grow and manage initiatives and projects relating to Assurant’s Multifamily products and programs. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally within the organization, which includes senior leadership, Sales, IT, Finance, and Marketing.

  • 100% Virtual
  • Hybrid (work from home some days and onsite at our Miami office)
  • 100% onsite if you live nearby and prefer to work from our Miami location

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Implement new programs effectively and efficiently, meeting both client and Assurant-driven timelines through the use of standardized implementation tools and processes.
  • Identify new business opportunities within client organizations and highlight, sell and execute resulting initiatives upon client and Assurant agreement to proceed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key contacts within client organizations at various levels.
  • Manage and monitor all initiatives and projects relating to partnered programs.
  • Ensure that all deliverables from Assurant to client organizations are delivered on time, every time.
  • Effectively manage and diffuse client concerns and escalations appropriately.
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately and effectively, when necessary, throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Provide recommendations to Sr. Management on various business reports, including the ability to evaluate the program’s financial performance against various goals and benchmarks.
  • Develop recommendations based on program performance through financial analysis, report any problem areas, and provide solutions and alternative recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate recommendations to Assurant Sr. Management and clients.
  • Conduct or participate in training sessions that support client programs.
  • Prepare and conduct Business Reviews by coordinating, creating, and verifying all documentation and all other participation and logistical arrangements.
  • Driving the negotiation and contracting process
  • Bring added value propositions to the client programs to create long-term solutions for the clients.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Three (3) years of experience in client-facing Account Management
  • Experienced presenting to all levels of senior leadership
  • Project Management and Organizational experience
  • Experience developing action plans and projects, exposure to budgets, expense control reports, and financial statements 

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Must be PC literate (Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range:

$60,700.00 – $101,100.00

The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
