Program Financial Analyst

The Civil Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Program Financial Analyst within the Climate, Energy, & Environment division supporting a variety of contracts & task orders.  This position will be responsible for performing program life-cycle activities including forecasting, variance analysis, estimates at complete (EAC) with support from program management, invoicing, collections, and completion of various financial deliverables.  The individual will have regular interactions with Finance Management, Program Managers, Contracts, Accounting, as well as several other functional areas within Leidos.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform program life-cycle activities such as project setup/ maintenance; internal financial activities such as invoicing support, accruals, funding tracking, period close, and forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Execute processes involved in estimating, budgeting and controlling costs on programs.
• Developing and driving financial forecasts and analyzing the program’s revenue and costs.
• Developing and maintaining of program Estimates At Complete (EAC) with collaboration from program management and technical leads.
• Supports the preparation of quantitative reports for internal and external customer deliverables.
• Interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Project Accounting, as well as other functional organizations.
• May assist in proposals through BOE support and cost modeling.
• Help drive innovation and automation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst/project controller or a Master’s and 2+ years experience as a financial analysis
• Basic knowledge of multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M, CR)
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Leidos tool suite: CostPoint, Fusion, SLICS, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Hyperion
• Contract Setup Processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range:

Pay Range $66,300.00 – $102,000.00 – $137,700.00
