The Director of Marketing, EMEA is a key member of the expanding EMEA DocuSign marketing team focused on the Enterprise segment. This role owns the end-to end go-to-market planning, pipeline targets and campaign execution for DocuSignβs Enterprise segment – from awareness to account acquisition and expansion. This is a high impact role that combines strategy, leadership, project management, demand generation and execution. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with passion, authenticity, excellent stakeholder management and communications skills, who can develop and mentor a strong team and drive impact not just across the region, but around the world too. This role will have 6 direct reports.
This position reports to the VP, EMEA Marketing based in Dublin and is designated Remote/Hybrid.
Responsibility
- Development of annual/quarterly marketing plans, working closely with the wider marketing team and sales leadership to align to business objectives and our pipeline and booking targets
- Build the marketing strategy and execute key initiatives in partnership with Sales and other cross-functional partners including, but not limited to, executive engagement, ABM, content, digital marketing, research, events (virtual/hybrid/physical), and sales enablement
- Influence the content strategy from a large business perspective, to develop content aligned to stages of the buyer journey for the Enterprise segment.
- Execute all tactics of the Marketing Plan and coordinate with other team members, shared services groups as well as agencies and our Sales partner teams
- Report on the program success on a regular basis, share best practices and develop new ideas and test and optimise our programs.
- Work effectively in an EMEA team and interact, align and share best practices within the global marketing team

- Strong leadership, strategy, and execution skills with demonstrated track record of career advancement and success in disruptive technology markets, large and start-up companies/divisions.
- People management experience and building scaling high performance teams
- Proven track record of EMEA marketing experience and management experience leading current business and future plans for B2B and B2C Internet products or services.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise business
- A strong mix of marketing, strategy, sales (direct, partner, e-commerce), and technical skills.
- Experience marketing technical solutions to specific industry verticals is required, with multi-channel distribution efforts, CRM/Sales Force automation, e-Signature solutions, document management, and digital content background also being valued in this role.
- Excellent organisational, presentation and writing skills and ability to successfully interact across functions at all levels of an organisation, with industry associations, partners, customers, and the public.
- University degree qualified
PreferredΒ
- Managing marketing functions / teams in multiple countries
- 15+ years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role.
- Strong knowledge of salesforce.com CRM, Eloqua marketing automation, Google Suite,
- Light Travel required
- 3-5 years of people and/or team management and leadership
- Experience of working to support both direct customers and also partners
- German language a plus
