Position Overview

Exabeam is looking for a Multimedia Curriculum Developer to create and maintain world-class technical training content for Exabeam’s partners, customers, and employees. You will work with a diverse, cross-functional team to gather needs and build multimedia educational content for rapidly evolving security products. The ideal candidate has developed multimedia content for at least 5 years, with a technical aptitude for communicating cybersecurity principles using digital content. You will be asked to share a portfolio of work.

What you will do:

  • Create “sticky” content that is memorable, engaging, and creative and that elevates training participants to new heights through the design and development of high-quality and informative multimedia learning materials, including video
  • Shoot and edit video content and digital imagery, including audio
  • Work independently under pressure, managing multiple deadlines, and reprioritize as needed, with a positive attitude
  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with trainers, lab technicians, and SMEs.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, content writers and subject matter experts to design, develop and deploy new training videos and interactive tutorials
  • Review and update existing training video content to keep them current and relevant
  • Create multiple types of content, including videos, games, storyboards, scripts, instructor guides, lab guides, assessments, and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
  • Translate complex concepts into simple, understandable stories for diverse audience groups (including but not limited to pre-sales, post-sales, technical, non-technical)
  • Record platform simulations and walkthroughs, demonstrations, and create various multimedia learning content
  • Create images and animations and develop graphics that identify a concept or convey a message
  • Leverage existing designs as needed, including logos, icons, and other graphics that are professional and help convey emphasis/callouts in content

Position Requirements:

  • Experience and/or expertise with tools such as PowerPoint, Camtasia, Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent spoken and written English with strong grammar skills
  • General knowledge of
  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Background or experience in technical education developing technical courseware, product documentation, and training videos
  • Attention to detail to verify finished quality
  • Up to date experience and an interest in the latest tools and trends in digital learning
  • Experience with creative projects, such as these: graphic design, video, micro-learning, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics

The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of:

  • Visual design/layout or UX principles
  • Instructional design principles
  • Cybersecurity technologies and principles
  • Technical topics such as IT, networking, operating systems, and/or systems administration
  • SIEM and/or log management tools
  • SOC Operations
  • Project management
  • Industry-standard content creation/storage tools
  • Video standards and copyright laws
