Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organized Paid Media Specialist to join the Anyplace team. This position will be a challenging (and fun) opportunity for a marketer to expand their skills toolbox while helping a travel startup in its growth phase reach even wider audiences. Our ideal candidate has a background in paid marketing and at least 5 years of experience in the field. Note: The position is remote; Anyplace is a fully remote team with employees in countries across the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Build, drive and optimize successful Google, Facebook and ancillary PPC marketing campaigns
- Ongoing optimization of SEM campaigns through performance analysis, ad copy testing, quality score improvement, keyword management, landing page testing, etc
- Own daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting for managed campaigns
- Interpret trends and make recommendations based on ROI, CPA, CPC, CTR and ROAS
- Drive growth through the ideation and execution of multivariate tests
- Help create dynamic user experiences through thoughtful performance analysis and strong cross-functional communication skills
- Lead and support the implementation of our paid marketing strategies
- Examine correlations between prospecting activities, revenue, and budget
- Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, and Google Analytics
- Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition
- Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs
- Craft landing pages and lead-gen forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying
- Monitor market intelligence and keep track on competitor movement and market situation
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Paid Marketing
- Strong quantitative analysis
- Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Docs, data visualization and data exploration tools
- Prior track record of successfully managing and optimizing direct response campaigns to efficiency and volume goals
- Familiar with Google Ads Editor
- In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, and social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more).
- Excellent communication, project-management and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strategic thinker with great analytical skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with an early-stage startup
- Experience working on a marketplace or travel product
- Huge plus if considered a digital nomad
- Works in Eastern Time Zone hours
