As the Director of International Programming on the Content team at Skillshare, you will develop and oversee the implementation of our global content strategy, comprising localized plans for key markets outside of North America. You’ll work with your team of localized talent partnerships and production specialists in each key market to bring these classes, narratives, and sessions to life, alongside the Film & Editing team.
The role is highly collaborative and cross-functional – you’ll work closely with our student community and open platform team, international leadership, marketing and product stakeholders, data and insights experts, and our finance department to bring the content strategy to life.
We are already a global business, with more than 60% of all new students coming from outside the US. This is despite having no dedicated international growth efforts or localized content or product. We’ll look to your experience in creating and localizing content in markets outside of North America, building out new content models, navigating matrixed org structures, and working with influential or expert talent to lead Skillshare’s international programming expansion.
