About the Role

Tile’s cloud-based global finding platform helps millions of people find the things that matter to them most.  We are now scaling our mission to ensure customers can achieve even more peace of mind with the Tile subscription service, providing even more reassurance for the long-haul.  In addition, we’re expanding our global reach through technology, platform and product partnerships.  There are countless ways to use and enable Tile and we have a striking range of opportunities to exponentially grow our global Tile Community.

The Tile Partnerships team works with global technology, platform, silicon and device companies to bring Find with Tile to millions of consumer products and Tile users worldwide, with the power of Smart Location and the Tile finding experience.

We are seeking an energetic and tenacious business development and partnerships professional to join the Partnerships team.  The role owns the daily management and steering of current and strategically important commercial and technical relationships with wireless silicon providers, global device brands in the wireless Audio and PC markets.  All of whom are integrating Tile software into their platforms and products and enabling the Find with Tile experience across a broad range of devices and platforms.

You are someone who sees what’s possible and drives towards the solution. You are highly self motivated, an excellent communicator and can effectively work across multiple, cross-functional teams to execute and scale our Partnership programs. The ability to align Tile and these partners roadmaps is a must. The ability to synthesize multiple variables across business, consumer experience, product and technology and translate them effectively into short, medium, & long-term joint integration roadmaps is a must. This position will require strong negotiation skills with a good technical background in the areas of embedded technology in the Mobile, Bluetooth, Audio, True Wireless, PC, IoT and Smart Home markets.   If you have extensive experience managing complex and large projects and alliances at scale with diverse cross functional groups, you are the ideal match for this opportunity.

Experience in Product or Technical Marketing Management, Business Development or Sales with the proven ability to build relationships and execute technology design wins with key decision makers are key.  In addition, experience working with Marketing and Communications teams in go to market and product launches with Partners is desirable. If you have experience working in these areas, you are the ideal match for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Own key relationships with top Consumer device brands to drive adoption of Tile technologies into their products – with a focus on the PC, audio and consumer IoT markets.
  • Drive partnership and firmware integrations of Tile technology into the wireless silicon providers supply chain.
  • Foster relationships and navigate complex business and technology discussions and negotiations with Partners from senior executives to functional and engineering leads
  • Be an expert in Partner’s core business, products, business models, growth plans and motivations.
  • Own, maintain, and develop pipeline of partnership leads in priority verticals for Tile
  • Develop business cases and create innovative proposals with Partners to drive value for both
  • Work cross-functionally with Tile product, design, partnerships, engineering, and marketing as we develop and onboard partners
  • Influence key discussions about overall partnership strategy and Tile Platform roadmap
  • Work closely with the Tile’s executive team in supporting these Partnerships

Requirements

  • A strategic thinker who can quickly understand and adapt to constantly changing market dynamics, think through the long-term impact, and develop strategies to maximize Tile’s adoption by Device Partners.
  • Demonstrated success in the execution of complex commercial partnerships resulting in shipping significant consumer-facing devices, software or services
  • A minimum of 4 years related or adjacent experience to the wireless silicon industry and Bluetooth and/or location based technologies
  • Knowledgeable with practical experience related to the stages of hardware and software development in the design of new products and the interdependencies of the ODM/OEM supply chain
  • Highly organized in managing all aspects of Commercial technology partnerships
  • 4-year degree or equivalent in Business or Technology. An MS or MBA is a plus.
