At Yembo, we are bringing a digital shopping experience to all home services (moving, insurance, painting, etc.). We are using software and computer vision based artificial intelligence to eliminate the super analog process – waiting for a trained estimator to visit your home to count furniture or measure your floors and walls.
The home-services as a whole is worth several hundreds of billions and Yembo is building fundamental technology that will drive how consumers and businesses interact for these home services. We strongly believe we are going to make a verb out of Yembo – when any home service needs to be estimated, you just “Yembo it”. Today, our software is used by leading providers in the relocation services industry, and we are on our way to put together a category-defining product for home insurance. You will be employee no < 30 and this role would be career-defining (just like how seeing an early Stripe or Airbnb employee on LinkedIn).
The Director of Marketing is a pivotal role for the organization. We’re seeking a growth-minded, hands-on operator with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity for B2B SaaS companies. As Yembo’s first marketing hire, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and build the marketing function from the ground up. For e.g. we launched 4 new products in the last 2 quarters and have several more planned – you will work with the Exec team in positioning, go to market, work closely with the sales team to impact top of funnel that drives more closed deals.

Create a framework for Product Marketing – from buyer persona research to messaging to planning/executing product launches. Grow the team as applicable to ensure we always have an industry-leading GTM operation, and Yembo becomes a verb.
Content, Demand Generation, & Channel Management
Work with our head of sales in planning and executing top-of-funnel experiments and use data to double down. Figure out what channels we should be using and why.
Build the entire Martech stack – from Braze, to Segment, to Autopilot to build the best in class operations.
You have worked at a company at a similar stage before (Seed, Series A, Series B) preferably at a Dir level role or above and you understand what it takes to get to the next level.
