Revenue teams at top Cloud 100 companies like Asana and Intercom use Dooly to capture and amplify the outcomes of their meetings. Because we build Dooly with the end-user in mind, users tell us they couldn’t live without it. With our recently announced Series B funding, we’re investing in our team and building the next generation of our product.

We are hiring a frontend developer with strong knowledge of Javascript, React, and UI/UX design to join the Growth Marketing team at Dooly. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS is a must. You’ll be working with the Growth and Marketing team to implement experiments and optimizations for the website. Familiarity with B2B SaaS stacks and experience optimizing a product-led motion as part of a previous growth marketing or role within a revenue org is a major plus! You are no stranger to the tools of the trade within a fast-growing startup and have worked with tools like: Segment, BigQuery, Marketing Automation, Clearbit, and Chili Piper.

A typical week in the life:

  • Implement responsive UI/UX designs using React and Styled Components
  • Integrate best practices for SEO and performance optimization
  • Write clean, organized, reusable, well-tested code that is a pleasure for other developers to read
  • Participate in peer-reviews
  • Diagnose and resolve bugs within the existing codebase
  • Refactoring complex or problematic code as needed to improve long-term maintainability, scalability and extensibility of the codebase

  • Have 5 years experience building, deploying, and maintaining complex production websites using modern HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Have 2+ years experience specifically with React (or similar) frontend Javascript framework
  • Experience with GatsbyJS and GraphQL highly desired, but not required

Your tech stack:

  • Frontend: Gatsby, Javascript, React, StyledComponents, js
  • Datastores: Contentful CMS via GraphQL
  • Source Control / Workflow: Git, Github, Slack, JIRA
  • Netlify, vercel, heroku experience
  • Server Side Rendering
  • You might (but not necessarily) also have experience with DevOps, specifically AWS (S3)

We encourage you to apply

At Dooly, we value differences, and we encourage everyone to apply – especially those whose identities are underrepresented in tech. We know that the more diverse the perspectives, experiences and talent of our Dooligans, the better we’ll be.

We respect and celebrate how you identify, who you do or don’t worship, your pronouns, the colour of your skin, your age (on paper and at heart), your sexual orientation, your culture and background, and if you have a disability or are a veteran. If you require accommodations in the hiring process please reach out to [email protected]

We are currently working remotely with the option to come into our Vancouver-based office. We are open to local or remote candidates, with a preference for those within a North American time zone.
