Are you a PPC campaign manager with a knack for YouTube? Do you have a proven track record of traffic and revenue for brands with Google, Bing, and YouTube campaigns? Are you deeply analytical and process-driven by nature? If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Tuff is a growth marketing team working with clients to drive growth by creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing high-performing acquisition campaigns. We’re a fully remote and small team with endless opportunities for autonomy, ownership, and impact.

We work with clients in nearly every industry, with ad budgets that range from $100/day to $6,000/day on PPC channels like Google, Bing, and YouTube. A typical engagement with Tuff includes Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, PPC, SEO, Email, and CRO. Every account has a dedicated Growth Marketing lead and is supported by various channel experts.

The Google Ads & YouTube Ads Strategist will support Growth Marketers on 5-7 client accounts, managing a combination of different YouTube, Google (Display, Search, and Shopping), and Bing campaigns. As a team, our primary goal is to help our client’s businesses grow, and you’ll use YouTube, Google (Display, Search, and Shopping), and Bing to do it. You’ll be the third PPC Strategist at Tuff.


Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Help Tuff clients grow with YouTube and Google campaigns
  • Join client meetings bi-weekly and outline results and action items for PPC campaigns
  • Collaborate with Growth Marketers to refine the video creation process for YouTube creatives
  • Design and run a variety of new scalable (and unscalable) experiments on YouTube
  • Conduct keyword research and create impression projections
  • Configure tracking and setup analytics with Google Tag Manager
  • Work closely with Chris, Tuff’s PPC Lead, to run campaigns, review the data, and align on what to do next
  • Define your measures of success and track core KPIs for YouTube and Google for accounts
  • Help build reporting dashboards and impact reports for clients

Within 1 month, you’ll…

  • Manage YouTube and Google on five different accounts.
  • Shadow Chris on 10 different client meetings.
  • Finish training on Tuff’s ongoing management process and how the PPC team contributes.
  • Report on results for the accounts you manage each week.
  • Meet bi-weekly with clients to communicate progress and discuss results.

Within 3 months, you’ll…

  • Manage YouTube and Google campaigns for seven different clients.
  • Join bi-weekly client meetings.
  • Setup new clients Google Ads accounts and analytics
  • Onboard two new clients for YouTube and Google
  • Finalize the YouTube video production process with the Growth Marketers at Tuff
  • Get feedback on client standup doc participation.

Within 6 months, you’ll…

  • Manage YouTube and Google campaigns for seven different clients.
  • Regularly test new campaigns and strategies on each platform.
  • Join weekly client meetings.
  • Manage reporting for YouTube and Bing
  • Refine the YouTube offering, page, and content on the Tuff blog
  • Contribute Google, Bing, and YouTube articles to the Tuff blog once a month.

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a PPC specialist with a background that includes data-driven YouTube and Google campaigns.
  • You understand how to communicate with and teach clients about the latest PPC tactics and results.

  • You are a driver, focused on making an impact on the organization and clients every day.
  • You have demonstrated success testing and uncovering useful insights and sharing them in an engaging form that inspires people to take action.

You’ll work closely with the whole team. In particular, with Chris, Tuff’s PPC Lead, and John, a Growth Marketer at Tuff, to get up to speed on current clients and iterate on the PPC process at Tuff.

At Tuff, we believe it’s important for people to live and work where they are happiest and most productive. Our team is fully remote and we offer a remote set up stipend for your home office or co-working space. Tuff covers 100% of health, dental, and vision for employees.

The salary range for this role is $72,000 – $90,000 (we use a compensation formula that adjusts for experience and cost of living).
