You will

People:

• Be the first point of contact for HR related queries, escalating any employee relations issues as required.
• Manage global onboarding alongside international colleagues, ensuring new Picsartians experience a seamless welcome.
• Maintain up to date employee records in line with local legislation.
• Provide advice and guidance on German labour laws and best practice.
• Support the wider People team to develop and implement global policies.
• Support local implementation of our performance appraisal process.
• Support managers and employees to succeed by identifying knowledge gaps, organising training with L&D colleagues where appropriate.
• Work closely with our Employer of Record companies across onboarding, immigration, payroll and offboarding, ensuring managers are kept up to date.
• Work closely with the global People team to ensure Picsart’s brand and culture is consistent across different locations.
• Partner with Finance to investigate and resolve any payroll and billing matters relating to employees, contractors and interns.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Assist our legal department to manage immigration processes where required.

Office:

• – Take the lead on managing our offices in Germany, working with building management to resolve any issues should they arise.
• – Organise and manage events for our Germany-based employees.
• – Greet visitors and make them feel the full warmth of Picsart’s culture.
• – Ensure office policies and procedures are kept up to date.

About you

• 3+ years’ experience in an HR related role
• Excellent  knowledge of German labour law
• Fluency in German and English (English is our company language)
• A deep understanding of what it means to work in an international workforce
• A passion for fast-paced work and the occasional change of priority
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a fun & friendly attitude
