Job Description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Product Manager – Education to lead the direction of our higher education Flagship CRS product. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. Collaboration, relationship-building, and communication are key aspects to being successful in this role.

Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own the Comprehensive Receivables Solution product and be responsible for its roadmap, solutions, management of a cross functional team and more.. What does this look like? You must …

  • Translate current and prospective client and payer pain points into market leading solutions
  • Assess current competitor offerings, industry trends, and higher education needs through working with clients directly, attending trade shows, and other research methods
  • Collaborate with, engineers, designers, sales and other stakeholders to come up with innovative solutions and enhancements to current product offerings
  • Work with product marking team on go to market strategies and product marketing collateral
  • Work with documentation and technical writers to deliver product documentation and training materials
  • Act as the main communication channel between the product and engineering team and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS software company
  • Experience in higher education or related field with product / project management experience is a big plus
  • Ability to compile and communicate key insights to offer recommendations and solutions
  • A drive to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • A team player
  • Obsessed with solving education market related problems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Humble – You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no ego

Our Hiring Process:

We are excited to get to know you! Throughout our process you can expect 4-5 rounds of interviews with different FlyMates including the Hiring Manager, Peers on the team, the VP of the department, and a homework assignment (it is not that bad!). Your TA Partner will walk you through the steps and be your “go-to” person for any questions.
