We’re a growth-mode startup and seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development  Specialist to join our growing team. The Business Development Specialist  will be an integral part of the sales team, responsible for driving partnership growth by identifying and sourcing new partnership opportunities.

Amino is a remote-first environment and is authorized to hire in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, GA, FL, IL, MA, MN, MO, NY, OR, SC, TX, TN, UT, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new business opportunities and understand the unique needs of prospects in target segments
  • Develop a highly targeted account list, carefully prioritizing prospects based on their potential for growth and profitability
  • As a partner to our field sales team, provide data and research to support outreach efforts, ensuring that each prospect receives a highly personalized and compelling sales pitch
  • in a comprehensive and up-to-date database of prospects and clients in the CRM system, continuously refining and updating the data to ensure maximum impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to create a seamless sales process that takes prospects from lead generation to closed deals

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, market research, or a related field
  • A deep understanding of market and customer research methodologies, with a proven track record of using that knowledge to drive business growth
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to uncover hidden insights and opportunities from data
  • Proficiency with Outreach and Salesforce; bonus points if experienced with HubSpot, or PipeDrive
  • Able to work independently to meet aggressive timelines while managing multiple projects

  • Expected base salary: $61,000 with commission potential reach $85k+ and a generous option grant. Amino values transparency and has included the reasonable estimate of the base salary for this full-time role at any approved US location. Individual pay is determined by a range of factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, licensure or certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Amino does not typically hire at or near the top of a salary range.
  • We offer full-time employees 100% paid employee healthcare premiums; dependent premium coverage depends on the plan.
  • 401(k) and FSA programs
  • This position, like all roles at the firm, will have a good deal of autonomy. We’re a remote-first team and have designed our culture for a balance of synchronous and asynchronous work with people operating from all over the country. To support your remote office, we provide every new Amino with a generous office set-up allowance plus a monthly stipend for internet/phone.
  • PTO is non accrual and we expect Amino’s to take a minimum of 15 days a year.
