We are a small but mighty, highly diverse, and creative UX team that enjoys solving complex design challenges together, exchange and learn from each other on and beyond work. Our team ensures our users and customers love using our product by designing the User Experience of SAP Signavio Process Insights. Building on SAP’s intelligent enterprise strategy it is the mission of SAP Signavio to assist our customers in navigating through their digital transformation, help them understand and improve their business processes in a data-driven way.

What you’ll do

Position title: SAP Signavio iXp Intern (f/m/d) – UX Design and Research Intern

Work Area: Software-User Experience

Location: Berlin/ Walldorf (remote work possible within Germany)

Expected start date: July 1, 2023

In this role, you’ll

• Support conducting user research to inform design decisions and identify user needs.
• Collaborate with our UX team on product features to create design artefacts such as wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.
• Assist in developing user interface designs that are intuitive, visually appealing, and optimized for usability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Co-create visual designs that adhere to brand standards and guidelines.
• Help maintain design documentation and asset libraries.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies.

Who you are

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Currently pursuing a degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates design skills and experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and adapt quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with UX research methods and techniques

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate’s participation in the program.
