The world is undergoing a radical transformation. Work, commerce, and even education are moving online. Hotjar is at the core of that transformation.Β Hotjar wants to make the web a better place. We believe many digital experiences – whether they are on desktop or mobile – quite frankly suck, and we are working to change that.
Weβre building easy and intuitive product experience insight software for businesses selling online. Weβre focused on helping our customers really understand what their end-users are doing on their websites – to help them find those parts of their sites that are hard to navigate, just plain broken, confusing, or simply not enjoyable.
We’re growing our Data and Analytics tribe, and looking for colleagues to join both in leadership and individual contributor roles. As you read through this job description, we also encourage you to read our Director of Data Analytics and Senior Data Analyst job adverts, to give you further insight into the expectations and requirements of the team members who’ll report to you and who you’ll report to.
Reporting to our Director of Data & Analytics, weβre looking for a curious & collaborativeΒ Product Analytics Team Lead, who is passionate about building data solutions and data teams and driving change through data, to join our Data Science & Analytics Group.
As aΒ Product Analytics Team LeadΒ in ourΒ Data & Analytics Tribe, youβll shape the ways in which the Product Analytics team is working with our product tribes, leveraging our data stack (Redshift, dbt, Tableau, Mixpanel, Python) to enable everyone to move quicker, with more confidence in the data. Your team will be responsible for uncovering insights from our product, enabling us to make better decisions, and building what our customers need.
TheΒ compensation rangeΒ for this role isΒ β¬80,000 and β¬105,000 annually, where the offer typically falls in the range of β¬85,000 and β¬95,000.
At Hotjar we do not factor in any differences in compensation based on where you are located. We believe everyone should be compensated based on the market value of their role and the impact the role brings to the company. We also don’t believe in complicated bonus or equity schemes. Instead, our ranges are established after performing market research (London labor market), so that our team members can have a healthy and predictable income.
On average, our offers tend to fall within the first half the range published for the role. The specific compensation amount offered to a successful candidate will be based on the performance during the recruitment process, experience, skills, and knowledge.
Upon joining, the better a team member performs (in terms of execution, impact, and expertise) and the stronger their behavior is aligned with our core values, the higher they tend to move within a range. Team memberβsβ compensation is reviewed yearly.
