Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative project support for water and wastewater treatment plants in the South Texas region, with occasional on-site client visits. Daily activities include assisting with project scope, specs, and requirements, monitoring project progress, recommending products and ensuring on-time delivery, vendor coordination, and ensuring milestones are met.

This is a remote role that will support customers in the South Texas market and occasional travel for client site visits may be required. The role will operate within the Central time zone (CST), so our ideal candidate will live within the Central U.S. territory. However, the majority of work will be handled virtually, so anyone in the U.S. with our desired qualifications who possess a strong remote presence and a high degree of autonomy, willing to work an (CST) schedule, will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients’ business needs
  • Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
  • Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan

Qualifications

  • 4+ of Sales and Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
  • Water/Wastewater Plant or Waterworks knowledge is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.)
  • Detail-orientated with a proven ability to organize and prioritize work

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,000.00 – $8,833.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
