PrecisionLender, a Q2 company builds pricing and profitability software that helps commercial bank relationship managers make smart, real-time pricing decisions and deliver superior customer service. Andi®, our virtual pricing analyst, uses artificial intelligence to glean and deliver insights from the thousands of deals priced daily in the platform. Using PrecisionLender, banks grow faster with stronger and more profitable relationships. Our product is used globally by 200+ banks and 10,000+ relationship managers to price more than $1 trillion in commercial loans.

What You’ll Do Here:

As a Product Designer, you’ll be part of the Product team and work closely with our software engineers, product managers and other product designers. You’ll use your expert knowledge of design and user research to find ways to improve our product and processes.

You’ll be empowered to take our clients’ needs and suggestions and act on them. Our Product Designers own the end-to-end user experience design, including wire framing, feature ripening, designing mockups, usability testing & user research, and advocating for a high-quality, tested and accessible product.

What People Say About You:

You have stellar written and verbal communication skills, and the gift of explaining complicated things simply. You’re driven and persistent, so you look for ways to make our processes better and then you make those plans reality. Your scrappiness makes you a natural problem solver who doesn’t give up when you don’t know all the answers right away. You’ll have the resources you need to continually hone your skills and improve your knowledge. You have a bias towards action and never walk by a mess without cleaning it up.

You may already have experience working in the financial industry or for a software company, or you may not; what’s most important is your enthusiasm to learn. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be empathetic, resourceful, and humble.

1-3 years of professional design experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field to Design

Experience with accessibility, enterprise workflow, design systems, and designing for desktop applications are a plus.

A strong foundation in prototyping, wireframing, usability testing, user research, collaboration and presenting your work

Knowledge of Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, or similar design tools

A portfolio of work that shows you were directly responsible of the success of high impact projects and initiatives that benefitted end-users

At Q2, our goal is to be a diverse and inclusive workforce that fosters mutual respect for our employees and the communities we serve. Q2 is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
