SF company (B2B/B2C) is seeking an SEO Content Writer to join the Global Marketing team. This is a part-time contractor position (remote and 20-30 hours per week for 3-4 months.) that will allow you to grow your skill set in web content and SEO while assisting the team in the creation and optimization of compelling B2B landing page content. You will play a valuable role in helping us execute our strategy to drive organic traffic, audience growth, and leads. Our dream candidate is creative, data-driven, and has strong writing skills, and an undeniable eye for detail.


The Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with B2B partners and customers (B2C). We are data driven and biased toward action, and we put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers.


The SEO Content Writer is central to the success of our ability to develop, optimize, and scale B2B/SaaS landing pages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and will be tasked with creating original content and optimizing existing content to support SEO strategy.


  • Work cross-functionally with Growth Team on the development and execution of marketing landing page strategy.
  • Write engaging, informative website copy with the goals of driving awareness, education, and adoption of company’s products and services.
  • Leverage SEO best practices to create original content and optimize landing page copy to boost search ranking.
  • Ensure all copy meets highest standards for voice, narrative, brand positioning and SEO.
  • Convert website visitors into buyers, subscribers, or leads.


  • A degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, or Advertising
  • At least 3 years of professional editing or writing experience
  • Excellent writing, copywriting, editing, communication, and organizational skills
  • A working knowledge of SEO writing fundamentals
  • Experience writing about SaaS products
  • Experience working with a content management system
  • A basic knowledge of conversion copywriting
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented — you know how to take a plan and make it happen


Experience working with the blog or content platforms WordPress or Wagtail

Ability to analyze the performance of your content in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs, and make optimizations accordingly


MUST have a copywriting portfolio with B2B landing pages, SEO, and web copy.
