About This Role:

This role reports to the Head of Legal Transformation and is rresponsible for overseeing non-legal strategic and operational aspects of the Legal Division. The position collaborates and works closely with the senior leadership team in the Legal Division and across all functions of the company.

This is a leadership position bringing knowledge and experience for driving maximum operational performance across the Legal Division. The role will drive the execution of the overall strategy for the Division through the oversight and delivery of strategic projects.

  • Support the creation and drive the execution of the overall strategy for the Legal Division, including the Annual Plan (AP), Mid-Term Plan (MTP) and Legal Strategic Plan (LSP).
  • Manage the execution of strategic legal projects and initiatives in alignment with the Corporate Strategic Plan
  • Collaborate with the Legal Management Committee (LMC), to develop reporting and ongoing measurement against strategic initiatives and annual objectives
  • Managing/developing departmental communications strategies supporting the Head of Legal Transformation and the General Counsel
  • Lead and manage outside counsel and vendor management programs and Implement performance and value metrics to measure client satisfaction
  • Oversee, implement and manage training on Legal policies and maintain administrative policies and procedures
  • Support other Legal Transformation teams and projects, including Finance and Technology as required

 Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Solid senior experience of working in a multicultural, global setting from within a legal operations setting in a law firm or legal department or as a Consultant with experience in legal operations or organizational transformation
  • Demonstrated project management, problem solving and planning skills, driving solutions to align with legal and business needs
  • The ability to assimilate legal and business issues quickly and exercise sound judgment in providing practical, constructive advice in a fast-paced global environment
  • Results oriented team player with ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills and fully fluent in verbal and written English
  • Able to effectively motivate and manage a team
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage a large workload to deadlines and focus on critical priorities to effectively meet client needs.
  • Able to produce high quality work with strong attention to detail and a commitment to integrity, professionalism and a passion for excellence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time permanent position
  • The role will be based in the UK, relocation support or sponsorship is not available for this role
