Sr Contracts Specialist

As a key contributor to the Pega’s Commercial Operations team, you will report directly to our Senior Director and partner closely with our legal team to support the deal cycle.

As a Contract Specialist, not only are you responsible for mission-critical contract lifecycle operations, but also participate in Pega’s transition to an “as-a-Service” business model. Contract Specialists work day-to-day with Sales, Business Officers, Cloud Ops, and various Finance teams to manage commercial agreements with new and existing clients.

What You’ll Do at Pega:

• Manage the Pega Contract process up to the point that an agreement is signed
• Create, review, revise, and negotiate a broad range of contract types, in close coordination with Pega Legal, Sales, and client contacts
• Track and monitor quarter end deals, working closely with the legal teams to ensure all potential issues are addressed in proactive manner prior to contract execution
• Participate in projects to accelerate deal velocity

What You’ve Accomplished:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a business-related concentration
• 3 – 6 years of professional experience in a software contracts administration or related role
• MS Office expertise
• Knowledge of software licensing, subscription (“as-a-Service”), & professional services contracting
• Proactive self-starter, demonstrated ability to perform, succeed and multi-task in a high growth environment with varying deadlines
