Developing and communicating new service offerings for assigned products or services. Working with the sales and marketing organizations, as well as the technical delivery organization, to ensure service offer viability; interacting with customers and providing direct support to the sales organization to sell TriZetto products or services; eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. Working closely with other business units to manage product requirements, release schedules, training and support.

The Elements Product Manager understands Government programs (Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Exchanges Market).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Product direction- Vision and Strategy
  • Working closely with other business units to manage product roadmaps, requirements, release schedules, training, and support.
  • Partner with the development team to manage the creation and delivery of Epics/Features for assigned product modules
  • Creating or assisting in the creation of business cases and financial models to support the development of the product or services.
  • Assisting in establishing customer persona and market profiles.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products or services by conducting market analysis supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects.
  • Working to construct technology partnerships and contract.
  • Providing tactical support to other internal initiatives such as sales training, collateral development, and product performance.
  • Manage client workgroups on various topics
  • Work directly with clients on sales and support activities
  • Commercialization of the new product
  • Active role in the product management activities surrounding Cognizant’s solutions.
  • Eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the real needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users.
  • Gather, analyze, author business requirements.
  • Assists in driving projects to completion within time and budget in a matrixed resource environment.
  • Driving product value from strategic planning to tactical activities and responsible for the entire value chain of a product following the development life cycle.
  • Creating or assists in the creation of business cases and financial models to support the development of the product or services.
  • Assisting in upstream and downstream product management to define, create, improve and promote Cognizant products.
  • Assisting in establishing customer persona and market profiles.
  • Developing and maintaining a functional working knowledge of Cognizant developed software applications.
  • Planning, developing and delivering presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Encouraging innovation and continuous process improvement. Possess a thorough understanding of competitors’ offerings and positioning to maintain Cognizant‘s competitiveness within the industry.
  • Ability to identify requirements and drive product acceptance, to increase usage and evolve the portfolio of Product solutions.

Education and Certifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Advertising or Statistics. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree

Position Requirements

Industry Knowledge

Strong Healthcare market, specifically with a focus on Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Exchanges Market

In-depth knowledge in regards to Medicare Advantage Enrollment and reconciliation requirements and compliance standards.

Experience

Minimum of two years related experience working with client facing applications in the software/healthcare industry.

Technical Competencies

Ability to understanding of customer needs, business goals and competitive pressures and the ability to convert those into product requirements and priorities.
