As a Part-Time Corporate Development Analyst, you will evaluate major capital projects, commercial contracts, partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and other potential strategic transactions. You will also develop economic modeling and evaluate the viability of a project based on the revenue, capital expenditures and integration complexity.

This role is designed to be part-time with the opportunity to evolve into a full time opportunity as Caylent continues to grow organically.


  • Drive and maintain the M&A target pipeline process to accelerate acquisition strategy, including researching potential targets and industry trends using public and private sources of data
  • Analyze target companies and industries and prepare competitive analysis and conduct initial due diligence efforts
  • Support financial analysis and integrated valuation models for various situations, including acquisitions and strategic investments
  • Advised Corp Development Director and participate with internal C-Suite executive on Acquisition targets
  • Proven working experience working in Business Data Analyst or similar role
  • Required: MBA or MBA in Progress
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

  • Identifies, assesses, and quantifies risks inherent in a transaction
  • Performs due diligence to develop/validate assumptions
  • Collaborates with business partners to ensure accuracy of assumptions review
  • Prepares internal presentations
  • Stays current on industry developments
  • This is a part time fully-remote role requiring at least 20 hours per week.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures experience; including asset specific evaluation and entity and company level evaluation experience
  • Ability to navigate sales tools such as Meet Alfred, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesForce, etc.
