About the role:

This role will be remote or based in our San Francisco HQ. We are looking for someone who will inspire, motivate and develop the Global Recruiting team in their aim to identify and engage top talent. Reporting to the VP of People Ops, you will play a critical role in Sauce Labs’ ongoing growth and desire to attract a diverse workforce and continue to build an exceptional candidate experience. This role will contribute to Sauce’s success by optimizing recruiting operations and team performance by providing leadership, planning and execution.

This role will lead our Global Talent Acquisition team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be a trusted thought partner for talent acquisition and workforce planning – collaborating across functions to drive and execute on hiring plans, talent strategies, initiatives and process improvements
  • Lead the team in building proactive talent pipelines for current and future openings
  • Partner with HR Operations to understand compensation and benchmark data for hiring needs
  • Using data, KPIs, and metrics, drive and manage the recruiting funnel, influencing your team and the business towards excellence
  • Own budgeting and resource allocation of recruiting tools and spend
  • Develop and manage processes, tools, and external vendor relationships to support an exceptional hiring process and meet headcount needs
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and iterate Sauce Labs’ employer branding strategy to attract high volume and high-quality applicants
  • Work closely with our DEIS Leadership team, help to manage and execute on our workforce diversity and sustainability objectives, including processes to reduce bias
  • Own the ongoing development, leadership and delivery of training for hiring managers and interviewers to optimize the hiring process

You’ll love this position if you have/are:

  • 6+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting (2+ years of managing high performing recruiting teams)
  • General understanding of various employment laws and their impact on Recruiting and HR matters
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Someone with a passion for all things recruiting. This includes delivering on exceptional candidate experience, recruiting process improvement, and a contagious enthusiasm transmitted through team management and engagement
  • A natural coach and mentor who relates well with others, listens effectively and can build strong relationships rapport with a diverse workforce
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Agile and possess the ability to switch gears quickly, shift team priorities as needed while maintaining a collected demeanor even under pressure
  • Curious about scalable sourcing models to help the team proactively identify and build solid talent pipelines for current and future openings.
  • Comfortable carrying your own requisition load, keeping your recruiting skills sharp, and reinforcing mentorship and best practices to the Recruiting team.
  • Enjoy diving into additional projects as opportunities arise!

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience with preferred platforms: Greenhouse and BambooHR
  • Experience hiring globally (North America, EMEA, and preferably APACetc.)
