The Salesforce.com Administrator is responsible for maintaining all aspects of Fortna’s internal sales and marketing technology stack. This position will support all internal sales systems and database needs for Fortna’s US and International locations such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, LinkedIn Navigator, Zoominfo, Clari and web hit tracking software. It will include monitoring Salesforce.com usage, performing administrative tasks, training, setting up and maintaining reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and working with Sales, Business Development, Delivery, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and external consultants to productively integrate these tools into our business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Working closely with multiple departments to realize the full capabilities of our sales database tool.
  • Conducting analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommending process improvements.
  • Developing training materials and conducting training sessions with business users to improve adoption and efficient use of Salesforce.com across the enterprise.
  • Developing and maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, accounts, leads, opportunities, dashboards, reports and any other functional areas as required.
  • Driving major releases of new capabilities across marketing and sales technology stack.
  • Managing user set up, profiles, roles and teams.
  • Importing and exporting large volumes of data.
  • Evaluating and recommending sales and marketing technology tools for feasibility and impact to the business.
  • Providing problem root cause analysis to resolve complex system problems as part of Tier 1 support. Position is supported for Tier 2 tasks by an external consultant.
  • Monitoring usage and licenses of all tools, i.e., Salesforce.com, S&P, etc.
  • Creating and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Creating and maintaining template reports and dashboards for sales, business development, operations, consulting, marketing, Client support and other users upon request.
  • Assisting with email-based marketing campaigns, such as quarterly FortnaAdvantage newsletters.
  • Creating and tracking a monthly web hits report and analyzing options to improve this function.
  • Performing day-to-day Salesforce administrative tasks and addressing production support issues (e.g., unlocking/resetting passwords, modifying data, creating ad hoc reports).
  • Translating user requests into workable requirements, document specifications and test cases.
  • Setting up Marketing campaigns, campaign hierarchies, lead queues, assignment rules, and Web-to-lead and auto-response rules.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by manager or management.

Experience and Skills:

  • Capacity to be flexible, proactive, and resourceful
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job
  • Ability to travel approximately15% of the time – primarily domestic with the possibility of international travel; however, this could change based on company’s impending business needs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Direct Salesforce training and certification
  • Sales and Marketing technology stack certification as needed
