We are searching for an SEO Outreach Specialist to guide our link building efforts for clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience to help define, create, analyze and iterate the link building process from the ground up. Position is fully remote, though if located in an area with an office, you may choose to come in when offices are reopened. You will prospect online publishers and other relevant sites for backlink opportunities. You will manage the ongoing relationships with backlink partners who support our clients’ eCommerce businesses. This person will be a primary stakeholder in developing relationships and securing links on other websites to our clients’ websites. This person will report directly to the SEO Manager. Your role will have a meaningful impact on our business.

What you’ll be doing for SEO outreach and link building 

  • Work with the SEO Team to develop link building strategy
  • Conduct research to identity websites that are relevant to AVB Marketing’s clients link building strategies
  • Stay current with modern and innovative outreach practices
  • Perform customized outreach to earn links to Client pages and Blogs
  • Identify existing content and new content ideas with link building potential
  • Ensure team is following best off-page SEO practices
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with leading websites in our industry and other relevant industries
  • Analyze competitors’ backlink profiles
  • Actively monitor, clean up, and optimize clients’ backlink profiles
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop linkable assets, guest posts, media/press placements, and other external content.

Qualifications

What you bring to the role: 

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Experience using SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Screaming Frog & Google Search Console
  • Develops knowledge of business, competition and latest industry news and trends.
  • Effective time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Very thorough/rigorous approach to link opportunity standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build strong working relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders

This is a full-time position.
