Position

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining active communication across the organization to ensure a supportive work environment for all staff members. A successful applicant will be proactive, diligent, solutions-oriented and be an effective communicator. This person should enjoy being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. Candidates should have a passion for social justice and support on our mission of ending harassment in all its forms. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a strong desire to bring their skill set to a dynamic organization that values collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment efforts by coordinating with hiring managers, posting roles on Workable and scheduling interviews
  • Be the primary point of contact for all new hires and assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures. Maintain digital employee records.
  • Assist in organizational scheduling of team meetings, team retreats, socializing events, etc. Support employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications.
  • Book travel arrangements as needed. Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences and special events.
  • Design opportunities to cultivate virtual and in-person organizational culture, assist in team retreat planning and coordination, virtual team building events, etc.
  • Assist with implementation of new systems and benefits
  • Assist with special projects, such as research on new organizational initiatives, process improvements, and budget development.
  • Develop policies and processes to improve departmental workflow
  • Respond to general inquiries via organizational emails, and other external contact or request systems. Receive and forward communications to different staff and departments.
  • Assist in special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, office administration or similar environment with a proven track record of implementing improvements;
  • Excellent organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills;
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven, and motivated by project coordination and deadlines;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, effectively, and accurately
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others;
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth plans;
  • Strong technical skills across technology platforms (Google Suite, Zoom, Lastpass, Asana, Slack)
  • Must have a genuine passion for ending harassment;
  • Eager to take on challenges with a sense of humor.
  • Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Friendly, service-oriented personality

Benefits

The salary range is $57-60K; the final salary is to be commensurate with experience. 100% remote work with some travel required.
