What will you be doing?

  • You will perform business analysis activities to define solutions in detail utilizing a mix of project skills and technical domain knowledge;
  • Reporting (mainly using Tableau and Google Sheets)
  • Maintaining knowledge of project status, scheduling requirements, preparing spreadsheets, contracts administration, document control and maintaining databases.
  • Participating in project meetings to record minutes, actions and record of decisions as required. Assisting with organizing and preparing for meetings and conference calls. May be responsible to lead meetings as needed.
  • Communicating effectively with Pythian’s customers and our internal delivery teams to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding the project specs, status of delivery/ build, outstanding questions, budgets, project health, and hours.
  • Providing and documentation recommendations on delivering the project work. This includes identifying and removing roadblocks and obstacles; prioritizing requests; establishing practical project timelines; prioritizing work etc.
  • Development, documentation, introduction and implementation of internal processes.
  • Ownership of and providing recommendations for improvements for Pythian’s reporting and auditing needs.
  • Maintaining a knowledge of customer’s contract requirements and supporting the Project Managers in the management of the customer’s contract requirements.
  • Customer and Project Management compliance with policies, practices and procedures. Working with Pythian’s security office to ensure processes are complainant
  • Planning, organizing and handling the execution of customer success processes, such as onboarding and offboarding customers, transferring customers to new teams or internal points of contact.
  • Become the Project Management Practices subject matter expert on internal tools being used and developed, such as Jira, Confluence as well as Pythian internally developed tooling etc.

  • Experience in dealing with customer support requirements (someone who will be able to interact with customers – both internal and external, without being nervous, shy, hesitant)
  • Experience in the IT sector or working with technical teams
  • Previous experience has included active participation in process and tools improvement initiatives
  • Advanced experience with using, developing and managing Atlassian software, including Jira and Confluence
  • Good working knowledge of Tableau, Microsoft and Google collaboration tools.
